Jupiter
Jupiter faced Claremont in their first game back after Christmas- the team couldn't beat the strong side, but maintained the same scoreline as their previous meeting. They they went on to play Wyndham at home, despite struggling to settle, Jupiter came away with the win! Their next game was postponed due to ice, so their next game was against Swans, the difficult game wouldn't allow Jupiter to settle into the flow of the game, losing the game, but they look forward to the return fixture in the coming weeks!
Saturn
Saturn have had some close games at the beginning of 2024, a point in their game against Queensway meant they came out all guns blazing against Panthers, where they lost by one goal, gaining 2 points. They then went on the bag the 3 points in a draw against Spears after a long wait to see if the match would go ahead on the icy morning! In their last game in January a slow start meant Saturn had to put in a big effort to gain the score back, after going goal for goal in the third quarter Bishops came out on top, but the team once again gained another 2 points, meaning they earnt a steady 8 points to see them through to February.
Neptune
With only two games in January Neptune took to the court against Pumas, the team dug deep and pushed the opposition the entire game to gain the win! In their second fixture a trip to Paulton saw the club plagued with unavailbility and injury, resulting in many of the team having already played a game that day, the team continued through the game against the fresher side and still gained the well deserved point.
Venus
Venus also saw a cancellation due to time and weather in January, the other two games played resulted in games with lots to learn from against more experienced sides. Venus continue to earn points through the season, keeping them in the middle of the table!
