After a month of preseason training, BNC entered two teams into the Somerset County Preseason Tournament on Saturday 2nd Sepetmber.
Trying out many combinations they won a majority of their 15 minute games, with many players stepping up against experience sides in higher leagues than the have faced before.
A great day was had by all, despite the constant wasp attacks!
On Monday 4th September, a Jupiter and Saturn squad travelled to Weston to play Weston Netball Club. With players taking on new positions, especially a couple recluctant centres, the team dusted off the cobwebs ready for their first league matches. Despite trying a number of new combinations, the team managed to pull away in the final quarter winning the match by 7 goals!
